Matthew M. Parman is a 1998 graduate of the Eli Broad College of Business at Michigan State University and a 2005 graduate of the Michigan State University College of Law. He was admitted to practice in Tennessee in 2005, and was admitted to the United States District Court for the Middle District of Tennessee in 2006.
Mr. Parman joined Mills & Cooper in early 2006. Prior to joining the firm, he clerked for a firm in Michigan from 2003 to 2005, working in areas such as wrongful death, premises liability, business formation, and criminal defense. He now focuses on civil matters including class action suits, defense of governmental entities, insurance defense, and personal injury. He is a member of the Tennessee and American Bar Associations. Mr. Parman enjoys hiking, tennis, and competing in triathlons, and he recently finished his second marathon. In his spare time, he volunteers as a tutor with Youth Villages of Middle Tennessee.
